The Conditions That Support the Guarantee
The First-Time Pass Guarantee is built on a simple principle. When PMP Candidates fully engage and apply consistent effort, they place themselves in the best possible position to succeed. For this reason, the guarantee includes a number of conditions. These ensure candidates actively participate in the training and preparation process.
To qualify for the guarantee, the PMP Candidate must meet the following requirements:

- Take the first PMP Exam attempt within 90 days of completing the Classic Seminars PMP Exam Preparation Course programme. This helps ensure the material remains fresh and that candidates maintain momentum after the training.
- Attend at least 80% of the training sessions.
- If a candidate missed the Alignment course, they must not miss more than one of the subsequent half-day (morning/afternoon) or evening class.
- If a candidate attended the Alignment course, they may not miss more than three of the subsequent half-day or evening sessions.
- Achieve an average score of at least 50% in the weekly class tests and at least 50% in the Simulation Exam. These assessments demonstrate that candidates are engaging with the course content and making steady progress.
- You may only miss the Simulation Exam for a medical emergency.
- Other than a medical emergency, your end of course Simulation Exam date is determined by the start date of the course, as indicated in the documentation forwarded to you by Classic Seminars admin upon registration for the programme.
- Write the PMP Exam within 365 days of the intake’s Alignment class.
Any candidate who delays their exam beyond 365 days from the date of the Alignment class will automatically forfeit the guarantee. - Provide proof of study effort during the 90-day period following course completion. This includes:
- A comprehensive study programme, and
- Completion of at least three additional Classic Seminars online practice exams, each with a score of 55% or higher, to monitor readiness for the actual PMP exam.
These requirements are designed to support a structured and disciplined preparation process. It ensures that PMP Candidates give themselves the best opportunity to pass the PMP Exam successfully.
