Online courses are 4 half-day sessions: Morning class 8 am – 12 pm or Afternoon class 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm.

In-person courses are 2 full-day sessions: 8 am – 4 pm at conference venues in Cape Town, Durban & Midrand.

About the MECC Course

  • This course provides apposite contract management training for construction and engineering industry professionals, focusing on the GCC, JBCC, NEC, and FIDIC contracts – The standard forms of contract recommended and endorsed by the Construction Industry Development Board(CIDB). It has been structured specifically for:

  • You will be trained in essential knowledge for such practitioners who are involved with preparing and administering contract documents.
    The comparative analysis of the four standard forms of contract will enable you to provide knowledgeable information regarding the most suitable standard form of contract for a client’s requirements. Furthermore, you will learn how to:✓ Compile watertight contract documents
    ✓ Ways of managing risk better
    ✓ Expand your knowledge of the major engineering and construction contract documents used in SA.
