Risk management and earned value management are well outlined and especially beneficial to those who are new to project management. The aids and references added to the book include a variety of resources that can be used both while studying for the exam and after becoming certified.

The language used to convey concepts is direct, making it easy to understand. The structure is also straightforward, with each chapter dedicated to a different knowledge area of the exam. It allows readers to focus on the topics they need to work on the most and take the test at the end of each ‘Knowledge Area’/Chapter.

A study plan is also included in the textbook, which we highly recommend all candidates create for themselves as well. There is also a full-length PMP practice exam at the back of the book, and a glossary of terms and acronyms used in the PMP Exam. We especially like the detailed answers given for each question in this textbook. It also comes with a token/key to enable access to further online exam content, additional questions and study aids.
