I have worked for both the public and private sectors in Southern Africa with more than 25 years of experience. As a Contracts Manager, I manage a portfolio of projects in the areas of water and sewer reticulation, bridges and roads, and stormwater. I am proficient in contract claims management and adjudication, planning, and forecasting project performance.

I have developed training material and conducted training of contractors and supervisors in contracts management and labor-intensive construction methodologies. I have been involved in training municipal professionals in the management of infrastructure projects. My research interest focuses on quality management processes of construction companies and capacity building processes in the built environment. I have just been conditionally accepted to study for a Ph.D. in Construction Management at the University of Johannesburg starting the 2022 academic year. The study will focus on the capacity building of emerging contractors.
