Online Payment & Refund Policy

Classic Seminars understand that plans change, hence online payment refunds will be paid out within 30 days of a refund request that meets the below refund policy. While the refund policy is to allow clients to book courses risk-free, CS must also protect our lecturers from potential fraudulent behaviour and provide them with a reasonable payment schedule, so CS will not pay out refund requests received after the Refund Window.

  • Online Payments are ONLY allowed for delegates paying for their course in a personal capacity, not their employer/business.
  • Refund Window: The period in which your online payment is fully refundable.
    • Refund Window for Online Courses: From the date of online payment up to 7 days before the start date of the course you are booking.
    • Refund Window for In-person Courses: From the date of online payment up to 14 days before the start date of the course you are booking.
  • Online Payments are NOT allowed for booking courses already past their Refunds Window and will not be deemed valid. For delegates who wish to join a class after the Refunds Window, normal EFT is the ONLY method of payment which will constitute a valid booking, CS will contact you with an invoice for this.

Payment Refunds 

Partial Payments Option:

For delegates who select partial payment with the intent to pay the balance of the course fee on or before the last day of the specific Refund Window. Note that for a valid booking, full payment is required within the Refund Window.

  • The balance of the course fee is to be made via normal EFT payment. Your discount will be included in the invoice CS sends you once your online partial payment is received.
  • The partial payment amount is fully refundable during the Refunds Window.
  • On the last day of the Refunds Window, as long as the balance of the course fee has not been paid, CS will automatically begin processing your refund payout, with no cancellation fee.

Full Payment Options:

For delegates who select full payment for the online/in-person course fee during the Refund Window of the course.  This is considered a valid booking and you will receive the course material prior to the course commencing.

Online course full payments
  • Refund Window: From the date of online payment up to 7 days before the start date of the course you are booking. The online course full payment amount is fully refundable during this Refunds Window.
  • No refunds will be paid out after the Refunds Window however training substitution is allowed, see below Change of Date.
  • Change of Date: For cancellations, after the Refunds Window a change of date is possible to the next training date for the same online course or another of our online courses in the same price bracket (the course date change must be within 365 days of the payment date).
In-person course full payments
  • The in-person course full payment amount will NOT be refunded after the Refund Window for in-person courses, as the conference venue booking and meals would have been paid for.
  • Change of date is NOT allowed after the Refund Window for in-person courses.
  • Substitutions: Delegates are allowed to get someone else to attend in their place for in-person courses as long as we are informed of this before the course start date.

 

Cancelled Courses

Classic Seminars  reserves the right to cancel/postpone/re-schedule a course at any moment due to, for example (but not limited to) –  unforeseen occurrences beyond our control, low enrolment, fortuitous events, acts of God, rioting, labour strike, extreme weather, electrical failure, war, other emergencies or any other event(s) that renders performance of this course impractical or impossible;

  • CS will begin processing the refund payout of the full amount of the online payment by delegates immediately after CS inform you of a cancellation.
  • Change of Date: Delegates have the option for a substitution to the next training date for the same online course or another of our online courses in the same price bracket (the course date change must be within 365 days of the payment date).
  • CS has a strict no-cash refund policy.  Where refunds are authorized, a refund will only be made into the original account from whence it was paid. Proof of said account must be provided to CS in the Refunds Request below.
  • Although every effort is made to avoid the above-mentioned cancellations/postponements/re-scheduling, CS accepts no liability whatsoever, for any loss or damage incurred, financial or otherwise, due to the cancellation/postponement/re-scheduling of the course(s).
  • CS specifically discourages delegates’ booking of flight tickets or accommodation until 4 days or less prior to the class. This is to prevent possible loss. Please note, should CS cancel a class, CS will not be held liable for such flight tickets or accommodation fees paid in advance.

Changes to our Online Payment & Refunds Policy

If CS decide to change our online payment & refund policy, CS will post those changes on this page, send an email notifying you of any changes, and/or update the modification date below.
